Participants enjoyed the 1st Run/Walk in 2021

Friends of Ethiopia Reads Seattle will be hosting the 2nd Run/Walk fun event at Green Lake in Seattle, Washington on Saturday September 17, 2022. The event is designed to raise awareness and much-needed funds for Ethiopia Reads’ work and to show our solidarity and support for the cause of children’s literacy in Ethiopia. All proceeds will go to the Ethiopia Reads initiative to help distribute free local language books to children in Ethiopia via ER’s network of libraries. New this year are vendor booths and a soccer game after the Walk/Run. Questions should be directed to Former Board Member and Organizer Frew Tibebu. Thank you to Eshiutopia.com for designing and printing event merchandise!
