A group of 30 Ethiopia Reads supporters in the DC area including Matt Andrea, our local board member and Malcolm Clark, our Board Chair met on December 1st at Kaldi’s Social House in Silver Spring to meet and discuss Ethiopia Reads ambitious plans for 2019 and beyond. Several of the group decided to launch a DC-Maryland-Virginia area supporters group (DMV Friends of Ethiopia Reads). Two weeks later a smaller group met and started to set out a plan for meetings, networking and events for 2019. Regular meetings start in January.
