Ethiopia Reads’ in-country staff are planning the next annual Children’s Reading Summit. Past conferences brought together research findings, synergy and much needed enthusiasm from engaging with like minded people. Our conferences helped to shape national educational policies and guidelines. This year’s conference will be held on 22 – 23 September 2022 in Addis Ababa. Ethiopia Reads is able to provide a unique and only open venue to discuss the progress and challenges to children’s literacy in Ethiopia. Moreover, it is the sole opportunity for professional development for improving children literacy in Ethiopia that is available to all Ethiopian educators.
